The beauty in this fine bowl comes from the surface wear and patina that a bowl can acquire during prolonged home use, along with some vivid and somewhat hidden colors. First, the interior has aged to a rich golden tan. Then the underbody was slipped a deep mineral red. Those colors contrast beautifully with the golden brown exterior patina. Lovely example.
