A very unusual large utilitarian pitcher painted in three horizontal design fields, with the top two narrow fields with first mirror image half moons encircling the neck, and just below: oblong elements encircling the lower neck. The main design a chain of oblong medallions with fine line rain designs bordering inner negative (white) cross-like designs. The pitcher is slipped white to the bottom with a slipped brown rim. A dark line at the neck flows continuously into handle. Rare and delightful.
