A very large (17” tall) squash katsina doll, traditionally adorned with a gourd head filled with seeds for a very pleasing and joyous rattling sound. It’s painted in two shades of green along with blue and yellow stripes and with a lovely squash blossom at the back of its head. If this one makes you smile, well, thats the point; as a squash this size would be symbolic of a very healthy crop season. Traditionally carved from cottonwood root and finished in his iconic distressed style.
