This dough bowl has a very old traditional design of lemon shaped devices with double framing lines above and below, a design often used on Kewa 19th century dough bowls. . The beauty of the bowl is in the rich patina, the fire clouds on the outer bowl from traditional outdoor firing and a gorgeous red stone polished interior. It is large enough to have been used to mix dough as well as to bathe babies. A sumptuous example.
Size 9” deep x 16” wide
Condition original and unrestored with a possible small inner wall crack which can be heard when the bowl is tapped, but is not visible
