An early pitcher likely made for home use; traditionally coil constructed, stone polished and oxygen reduction fired to create the black surface. The coils can be felt at the bottom, indicating a pottery created from an earlier time before tourist and gallery influence.

Condition Original and unrestored with an old minor rim near the spout
