Teal did not always look for perfection in her choice of collectible pitchers. This pitcher is, well, cute and imperfect. It is simple and primitive in feel decorated minimally with a pair of connected bisected black leaves; set against a large white field of soapy Santo Domingo slip. It is also altogether charming!

The potter’s “whoops” moment is visible in the photo; the black paint splotch is just under the rim.

Condition: Excellent, unrestored.
