This pitcher from Teal McKibben’s collection is a study in contrasts. The main mid-body design field shows very traditional large and open oval forms separated by straw width negative canals; giving the main design a wide open spacious feel. Then the handle with its many parallel lines and the dots under the handle are both dense and non-traditional. The result is a pleasing blend of traditional and innovative. The pitcher also has nice warm patina.

A lovely and collectible example.
