One of the show stoppers created for Franklin’s June 2023 gallery show, The Artistry of Acoma Plates by Franklin Peters. Two quadrants have two large Mimbres style fish who are in motion. The two other quadrants have many fine lines depicting heavy rain. The bordering white triangular forms represent in Franklin’s own words: “Those are storm clouds. The arrowheads break through as lightning.”
