This popular event includes a presentation of the Toya family pottery making tradition, a chance to make pottery with Jemez clay, a lesson in pottery painting by Maxine with traditional paints, painting and traditionally firing pre-made medallions which participants can take home and a Jemez Feast-Day-style lunch featuring Maxine’s famous Jemez enchiladas (I hope!)!
