We are pleased to showcase traditional and exceptional Navajo weavings of the Two Grey Hills region and style. The weavings are curated and acquired from Mark Winter from Toadlena Trading Post. Two Grey Hills weavings have several distinguishing characteristics. They almost exclusively feature natural wool shorn from local sheep and natural wool colors of dark brown, black and white. These are hand carded, often blending these colors to produce subtle shades of brown, tans and greys. The weavers represented include some of the master weavers producing dazzling and beautiful designs. Almost every weaver we represent is documented in the book The Master Weavers by Mark Winter. These weavings are a warm and exciting addition to the gallery. Please enjoy!
